“I have a lot of goals and things I want to do before I die. I don’t want to look back and think I missed something.”

De’Ja McKnabb is an actress, model, and singer that has worked in the Continental United States and internationally in Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Her credits include a guest star role portraying a motivational soccer player in the web series The So and So Show. She was the principal talent for an award winning commercial for Wellstar Hospital. In 2021, she made her debut at The Phoenix Theatre for their production of A Winter’s Tale as Perdita and Clotho (directed by Katrina Hall). Her film festival debut was as Jasmine, in the short film The Last Time You Were Happy.

Her dream roles include Sophie in Lynn Nottage’s play Ruined, the voice actress in an action filled anime, a black female lead in a 19th century period film, or a brainiac in the Marvel universe or Bumblebee from the DC universe.

A Charlotte, NC native, De’Ja graduated from Northwest School of the Arts and earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from East Carolina University. She then relocated to Sarasota, FL to continue her training as an Acting Apprentice with Florida Studio Theatre. Currently, she is training under Lisina Stoneburner at The Company Acting Studio.

In her spare time, De’Ja can be found rollerskating with friends on Path 400 or catching up on the latest fantasy novel.
